Coaching Events and Group Coachings for Private Individuals

1. Validity of the General Terms and Conditions
SaddleUp Coaching is the partnership Krebs & Schöpper GbR, operated by Jana Schöpper & Simone Krebs, Engelwarz 12, 87480 Weitnau. The following provisions apply to services offered by SaddleUp Coaching: coaching events and group coachings for private individuals. These are service contracts as defined by § 611 BGB (German Civil Code), meaning the subject of the contract is the provision of a specified service, not the achievement of a specific (economic) result.

2. Description of Services
SaddleUp Coaching conducts coaching/trainings/seminars involving horses. The goals of the seminars vary depending on the participant’s needs, which are determined in a preliminary discussion. Duration, content, location, and time of the seminars are specified in the registration confirmation sent to the participant/client. Changes that do not alter the overall character of the event do not entitle participants to cancel the contract or reduce the fee. The participation fee includes only the services listed in the registration confirmation/offer.

3. Legal Validity of the Contract/Registration
Registration is completed via our website and booking form. Once received by SaddleUp Coaching, the registration is binding. A confirmation email sent by SaddleUp Coaching serves as order confirmation, proof of registration, and binding contract.

4. Payment of the Invoice
The participation fee is payable upon receipt of the invoice, to the account specified, without deduction. Services are usually invoiced in advance and must be paid at least 48 hours before the seminar starts. Additional services, such as extra coaching, are usually invoiced afterward and must be paid immediately upon receipt. In accordance with §19 UStG, no VAT is charged. The provider may send invoices electronically, and the client expressly agrees to this.

5. Cancellation/Termination by SaddleUp Coaching
SaddleUp Coaching may cancel the contract if the participation fee is not paid on time (§4). It may also cancel if, for example, the seminar has too few participants or due to other valid reasons (e.g., illness of an instructor or horse). In such cases, participants will be informed via email or phone and offered two alternative dates. SaddleUp Coaching will not cover cancellation costs for hotels, seminar rooms, or flights. If none of the alternatives work for the participant, the fee will be refunded. No further claims are permitted. No right exists to attend the seminar on a specific date. Violation or suspected violation of these terms entitles SaddleUp Coaching to terminate the contract at any time.

6. Cancellation by the Participant
If unable to attend, a participant may reschedule or cancel more than 48 hours before the seminar starts at no additional cost (in writing). If canceled less than 48 hours in advance, no refund is provided. A substitute participant can be named. No refund is given for unused portions. Illness does not entitle the participant to a cost-free cancellation.

7. Participant Responsibility
Participants are fully responsible for their physical and mental health during the seminar. A seminar leader will be present during all interactions with horses and may terminate any exercise for safety. Participants must follow instructions. Failure to do so can result in exclusion with no refund. The horses have not experienced abuse; participants agree to treat them respectfully, not feed them, or enter stables without permission by signing a liability waiver.

8. Liability Disclaimer
The horses are trained to work with people, but there is always some residual risk. Participants acknowledge this by signing a waiver before the seminar. The organizer's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence and capped at the participation fee, except for damages involving life, health, or body. Personal development depends heavily on the participant's willingness to engage and reflect, and no success is guaranteed. Stable mental and physical health is required. If a participant is or has been under psychological/psychiatric treatment, the coach may exclude them. SaddleUp Coaching may employ assistants or other specialists to conduct seminars.

Services are based on information provided by the client; the client is responsible for its accuracy and completeness.

9. Confidentiality
Seminar leaders and coaches are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding all operational, business, and private matters of the client, even after the contract ends.

10. Data Protection
Data collected via www.saddleup-coaching.de and during registration is used only for internal purposes and service fulfillment, not shared with third parties unless legally required. Personal data is stored only as needed for billing and accounting. No further data storage occurs, even anonymously. Further information is available in the separate privacy policy.

11. Equipment and Clothing
No horse experience is needed. Riding is not involved unless explicitly stated. Comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, and outdoor gear (depending on the season) are recommended, as sessions take place in a riding arena or outdoors.

12. Final Provisions
If any provision of this contract, including these terms, is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. German law applies. Jurisdiction is the location of SaddleUp Coaching's headquarters.

Coaching and Training Events for Companies and Organizations

1. Scope of the General Terms and Conditions
SaddleUp Coaching is the partnership Krebs & Schöpper GbR, run by Jana Schöpper & Simone Krebs, Engelwarz 12, 87480 Weitnau. The following terms apply to services offered by SaddleUp Coaching: coaching and training events for companies and organizations. These are considered service contracts as defined by § 611 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Therefore, the subject of the contract is the delivery of an agreed service, not the achievement of a specific (economic) outcome.

2. Description of Services
SaddleUp Coaching conducts coaching, training, and seminars in cooperation with horses. The goals of these seminars vary depending on the participant’s needs, which are determined in a preliminary discussion. Duration, content, location, and time of the seminars are detailed in the registration confirmation sent to the participant/client. Changes that do not alter the overall nature of the event do not entitle the participant to withdraw from the contract or reduce the invoice amount. The participation fee includes only the services listed in the registration confirmation or offer.

3. Legal Validity of Contract/Registration
Registration is only valid in written form and with a signature. It becomes binding upon receipt by SaddleUp Coaching. The signed registration can be scanned and sent via email. A confirmation email from SaddleUp Coaching constitutes confirmation of registration and forms a binding contract.

4. Payment
Participation fees must be paid in full, without deductions, to the account specified on the invoice. Typically, services are invoiced in advance. A 50% deposit is required upon booking, with the full amount due no later than 14 days before the seminar. Other services (e.g., coaching) are usually invoiced after delivery and must be paid immediately upon receipt. According to §19 UStG, the invoice amount does not include VAT. SaddleUp Coaching may issue electronic invoices, and the client explicitly agrees to receive invoices in electronic form.

5. Cancellation by SaddleUp Coaching
SaddleUp Coaching reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if the participation fee is not paid within the specified time. We may also cancel due to insufficient participant numbers or other important reasons (e.g., illness of a trainer or horse). In such cases, we will inform you promptly by email or phone and offer two alternative dates. We do not cover cancellation costs for hotels, seminar rooms, or flights. If no alternative dates are suitable, we will refund any payments already made. No further claims (e.g., compensation for cancelled or overbooked seminars) are allowed. There is no entitlement to attend the seminar on the originally selected date. SaddleUp Coaching also reserves the right to terminate the contract in the event of a breach of these terms or reasonable suspicion of such a breach.

6. Cancellation by the Participant
If you cannot attend the booked date, you may reschedule or cancel in writing more than 60 days before the seminar for a €200 handling fee. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days before the seminar, 50% of the fee will be refunded. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the seminar. A substitute participant may be provided at any time. No refund will be granted for unused parts of the seminar. Illness does not entitle the participant to a cost-free cancellation.

7. Participant Responsibility
Participants are fully responsible for their physical and mental health during the seminar. A seminar leader will be present during all interactions with horses. Leaders may cancel exercises for safety reasons. Instructions must be followed at all times. Failure to do so may result in exclusion without refund. SaddleUp Coaching’s horses have never experienced physical abuse. By signing the liability waiver, participants agree to treat the horses respectfully, not to annoy, hit, or otherwise mistreat them. Participants also agree not to feed the horses or enter their stables without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Liability
Although our horses are trained to work with a variety of people, there is always a residual risk—startled horses may react unpredictably. By signing the liability waiver before the seminar, participants acknowledge this risk and accept personal responsibility. Organizer liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and only up to the amount of the participation fee for other damages (excluding injury to life, health, or body).
As personal development is a process that relies heavily on the participant’s cooperation and willingness to reflect, seminar leaders do not guarantee success. Participation requires stable physical and psychological health. If a participant is or has been in psychological or psychiatric treatment, the coach may exclude them from participation. SaddleUp Coaching may involve assistants, expert third parties, or other agents in delivering coaching, seminars, and workshops.
Our services are based on data and information provided by the client or their representatives. The client is responsible for its accuracy and completeness.

9. Confidentiality
Seminar leaders and coaches are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding all business, operational, and personal matters of the client, even after the end of the contract.

10. Data Privacy
Seminar leaders and coaches may use personal data collected via the website www.saddleup-coaching.de or during registration only for internal purposes and the execution of services. Data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required. Personal data is stored only as needed for invoicing and accounting, and not beyond that—even in anonymized form.
For more details, SaddleUp Coaching refers users to its separate Privacy Policy.

11. Equipment and Clothing
No prior experience with horses is required. The horses will not be ridden unless explicitly stated in the offer. We recommend casual clothes, sturdy shoes, and outdoor clothing appropriate for the season, as exercises may take place in an arena or outside.

12. Final Provisions
If any provision of this agreement, including these terms and conditions, is found to be invalid, the remainder remains unaffected. These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Jurisdiction is the location of SaddleUp Coaching’s headquarters.
